AI Policy — How myAffidavit Uses Local AI

myAffidavit's commitment: your legal documents are yours alone. The AI runs entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded, transmitted, or processed by any external service.

How the AI Works

• 100% local processing: The language model is downloaded once and runs on your own hardware.
• No cloud uploads: Your affidavit content, personal details, and case facts never leave your device.
• No internet required: After installation, the application works without any network connection.
• No third-party AI services: myAffidavit does not use OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, or any other cloud AI provider.

What the AI Does

The AI assists with document structure, paragraph formatting, exhibit referencing, and plain-English re-wording of your own facts. It does not provide legal advice, generate case citations, or invent facts. You are the source of every statement in the affidavit.

What We Do Not Do

• No data collection of any kind
• No model training on user inputs
• No telemetry or usage tracking
• No advertising or profiling
• No sub-processors with access to your documents

Enterprise Deployments

For firms and chambers, the model is deployed on hardware your IT team controls. There is no vendor access to the model or to documents created with it. The on-premise deployment supports air-gapped networks.

Human Oversight

myAffidavit is a drafting tool. Every AI-generated output must be reviewed by the person signing the affidavit. The user is responsible for the truth and accuracy of every statement submitted to a court.
